Job summary

Workato, Inc. in Doha, Qatar seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer to design, develop and implement a range of mechanical engineering projects.

The role requires independence or teamwork, strong communication, and a focus on quality outcomes. The successful candidate holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with at least five years of relevant experience and demonstrates proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Proficiency with CAD software, specifically SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in teams.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical engineering projects according to client specifications.
• Develop plans, cost estimates, and technical specifications for new projects.
• Monitor progress on engineering projects and ensure timely completion.
• Test mechanical components and systems for functionality and safety.
• Prepare reports detailing design changes or recommendations for improvement.
• Investigate potential technical problems related to mechanical systems.
• Consult with clients regarding project design changes or modifications.
