Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous masonry experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physical stamina to work in varying weather and lift heavy materials.
• Good communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Lay out patterns or foundations using measuring tools.
• Cut or shape materials to fit specifications.
• Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto surfaces.
• Set stone, brick, or concrete blocks in place according to blueprints.
• Use specialized tools such as trowels, levels, and hammers to complete projects.
• Repair or replace damaged brick or stone.
• Create decorative finishes on surfaces using techniques such as bricklaying, tuckpointing, or stonemasonry.
