Job summary

Avanta Works in Doha, Qatar invites applications for a temporary Light Driver role. The position involves safely transporting goods and/or passengers in light vehicles and requires no prior English language requirements or experience, with on‑the‑job training provided.

Responsibilities include punctual routing, vehicle upkeep, load handling, and clear communication with clients. A valid Qatar license for light vehicles is mandatory, with accommodation and visa sponsorship offered as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be Malayalee national, preferably residing in Qatar.
• Valid Qatar driver's license for light vehicles.
• Ability to communicate in basic English preferred but not required.
• Physically fit with good eyesight and hand-eye coordination.
• No previous experience required, on-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate light vehicles such as cars, vans or small trucks to transport goods and/or passengers.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
• Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle.
• Load and unload goods or assist passengers with their belongings.
• Plan the most efficient route to reach destinations on time.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues as necessary.
