Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering in Doha, Qatar, is seeking an Instrumentation & Control Technician to install, calibrate and maintain field instruments, sensors, transmitters and control devices. The role requires experience in instrumentation maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting and familiarity with PLC/DCS systems; diploma or technical qualification in Instrumentation or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or technical qualification in Instrumentation, Control Systems, Electronics, or a related field.
• Experience in instrumentation maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with PLC/DCS systems and instrumentation loop diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation and control equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair field instruments, sensors, transmitters, and control devices.
• Perform calibration and functional testing of pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments.
• Maintain and troubleshoot control valves, actuators, and associated instrumentation systems.
• Carry out loop checks, signal verification, and instrument performance testing.
• Read and interpret instrumentation drawings, loop diagrams, and wiring schematics.
• Assist in maintaining PLC, DCS, and other industrial control systems.
• Maintain calibration records, maintenance reports, and technical documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with safety procedures and permit-to-work requirements.
