Want More is seeking a compassionate Caregiver in Doha, Qatar, to provide in-home support for a client with special needs. The role emphasizes personal care, health monitoring, meal preparation, and companionship in a home setting.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Prior caregiving experience is preferred but not required, and basic first aid knowledge is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with individuals with special needs preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Knowledge of basic first aid techniques is beneficial.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services such as bathing, dressing, and grooming for the client.
• Monitor the health condition of the client and provide necessary assistance.
• Assist with medication administration as needed.
• Prepare meals according to dietary requirements specified by the client's doctor or nutritionist.
• Engage in recreational activities with the client to promote physical and mental well-being.
• Keep detailed records of services provided such as medications taken, meals served, etc.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing items in the home as needed.
• Provide companionship to the client and ensure they have social interaction with others.
