Job summary

India Abroad in Doha, Qatar is seeking a reliable Driver to transport goods and personnel safely and on time. A valid driver's license and knowledge of local roads are required; English is preferred for client communication.

You will follow routes, load and unload items when needed, keep the vehicle clean, and report incidents to dispatch. This is a permanent, full-time position offering stability in a busy logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license from Qatar or abroad with no major violations or suspensions in the past 3 years.
• Knowledge of local area and roads including back-roads and shortcuts.
• Good spoken English is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and responsibly at all times.
• Follow assigned routes and time schedules.
• Load and unload goods in a secure manner.
• Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, tidy and presentable at all times.
• Deliver goods in a timely manner according to schedule.
• Obtain signatures or other forms of proof for deliveries when necessary.
• Follow safety procedures when handling packages or cargo of any kind.
• Report any incidents or traffic violations to dispatch immediately.
