Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a chef.
• Extensive knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
• Creativity and passion for food and cooking.
• Ability to work long hours in a busy kitchen environment.
• Food Hygiene Certificate and knowledge of food safety procedures.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic helpful.
• Willing to relocate to Doha, Qatar if required.

Responsibilities

• Preparing meals according to recipes and standards set by management.
• Setting up workstations with ingredients and cooking equipment.
• Preparing ingredients for cooking (chopping vegetables, butchering meat).
• Cooking food using various utensils or grillers.
• Testing foods for taste and quality.
• Monitoring stock levels and ensuring health and safety compliance.
