Job summary

ConFlip in Doha, Qatar is seeking an experienced Cashier to join the team. The role requires handling cash and card transactions, counting cash, and maintaining accurate records while delivering excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of cashier experience, with the ability to perform basic arithmetic and stand for long periods. This position is based in Doha, Qatar, and may involve handling routines in-store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; however, relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of education requirements.
• At least 1-3 years of experience as a Cashier is required.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to make basic arithmetic calculations quickly and accurately.
• Ability to stand for long periods. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process cash and credit transactions for customers
• Count and verify cash in register drawers at the beginning and end of shifts
• Balance register drawers at the end of each shift, maintain accurate records of transactions
• Assist customers with their queries, complaints or requests to ensure customer satisfaction
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers as necessary
• Maintain cleanliness and organization around the cash register area
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws relating to cash handling procedures
• Stock shelves and racks with merchandise when required
