Ideal candidates have proven carpentry experience, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to read blueprints. This contract role is based in Doha, Qatar, with an emphasis on safety, accuracy, and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of building materials and their characteristics.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials.
• Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials.
• Cut, shape, and smooth materials using hand or power tools.
• Build frameworks and structures such as floors, walls, roofs, and staircases.
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows, molding, trim, and hardware.
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures.
• Finish surfaces by sanding, staining or painting.
• Follow safety procedures at all times.
