Job summary

We are a busy bakery in Doha seeking a skilled Baker Assistant to help the head baker with a range of breads, pastries and cakes. You will measure ingredients, mix dough, and assist with baking to ensure consistent quality.

This role offers hands-on learning in a fast-paced kitchen, opportunities to develop technical skills, and the chance to grow with the team. Candidates should be reliable, detail-oriented and able to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year bakery experience.
• Knowledge of flours, yeast and ingredients.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent time management.
• Physically fit to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have visa or valid work permit for Qatar.

Responsibilities

• Assist head baker in preparing and measuring ingredients.
• Mix and knead dough according to recipes.
• Operate ovens, mixers and proofing cabinets.
• Monitor baking process for quality and consistency.
• Decorate pastries and cakes as needed.
