Overview
Linum Consult’s client is a major international company working within the energy sector. They are currently seeking a Document Controller to be based in their Doha office.
Responsibilities
- Managing the document control process, including the creation, revision, approval, distribution, and archiving of documents
- Sending and tracking transmittals from external parties, recording the references of the transmittals, and keeping a copy of the documents transmitted
- Reviewing and consolidating feedback from multiple team members while ensuring consistency and an absence of errors / duplicates
- Tracking progress and pending actions and reporting the status to the Line Manager
- Providing secretarial support to management and staff, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence
- Making travel arrangements including organising flight tickets and travel visas
Profile
- Degree qualification in Business Administration
- At least 8 years’ experience in similar roles in large companies, with a minimum of 3 years in positions of increasing managerial responsibilities
- Strong collaborative and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with key stakeholders, senior executives, and external partners
- Fluent in English and preferably Arabic as well
- Currently working in Doha, with a good understanding of Qatar and GCC culture & working environment
