Job description

Job Purpose:

  • To develop and execute Business Plan to build key relationships in order to achieve Targets through the Direct Cards.
  • Direct Cards Business forecasting and set performance goals accordingly.

Key Result Areas:

  • Manage Cards Business through planning, developing resources, coaching, monitoring, and appraising staff.
  • Identify and develop opportunities to maximize penetration in the local market.
  • Assign specific targets to the sales team and supervise further allocation to ensure individual productivity is maximized and matched with business potential.
  • Based on objectives, use customer and competitor information to penetrate into new markets and/or enhance penetration in desired market segments by developing special packages.
  • Establish productivity by market/products and ensure optimum results through continual analysis and monitoring.
  • Manage staff issues and concerns, if any.

Daily Activities:

  • Morning briefing and team huddle.
  • Development and management of Cards Pipeline and drive accountability for target achievement.
  • Initial screening of applications and submission to back ops team.
  • Tracking approval/declines for the day from back ops team, ensuring 100% submissions are processed and sent to Head Office.
  • Work closely and proactively with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities to enhance value for the card holders.
  • Monthly performance reviews.
  • Complaint management, if any.
  • Rigorously follow and improve controls (SOP/Process/KYC etc.) to ensure adherence to external and internal policies.
  • Ensure Clean Desk Policy, Code of Conduct, and other office decorum.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Banking/Financial Industry.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Leadership skills.
