Job summary

Intrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC seeks an Alternate Manager DFAC to oversee all food service operations in DFACs, including procurement, preparation, serving, and catering for events. You will ensure standards, manage inventories, and coordinate with COTR and PMO for menu planning.

Preferred candidates have a BS in food management or five years of military food service, with strong leadership and budgeting experience. Must be able to operate in demanding environments and travel as required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated staff management, project management, and food services mission/contract fulfillment.
• Excellent oral and written presentation skills are required.
• Bachelor's degree or five years of military food service experience may substitute for management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all food service operations in DFACs, including procurement, preparation and serving of meals.
• Coordinate with Site Manager, COR, and PMO for menu planning and quality standards.
• Manage budgets, payroll, and supplier invoices; monitor cost centers and procurement.
• Recruit, train, and supervise food service staff and subcontractors; ensure health and safety standards.
• Schedule and oversee catering for special events and large functions; ensure compliance with regulations.
