Overview

This position is contingent upon contract award. SOSi is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to provide oversight of on-site operations and provide financial resources, and act as the single point of contact with the Government, as required to meet the overall requirements of the Life Support Services (LSS) Contract.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe workplace and ensure safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
  • Comply with Environmental & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals. Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.
  • Manage, monitor and track services.
  • Act as the Contractor’s representative ensuring that all task order requirements are met.
  • Allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs.
  • Identify problem areas to resolve issues and respond to mission requirements to perform task order requirements.
  • Plan and manage projects.
  • Control resources; monitor staff proficiency and qualifications; monitor the locations and activities of assets; and coordinate the flow of information to and from staff and USG representatives.
Minimum Requirements
  • Active in Scope Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or related field.
  • Experience in life support services and/or logistics management with a minimum of 10 years at the Deputy PM level.
  • 5 years of experience providing such services to large facilities or operations greater than $10 Million in annual operations.
  • Experience, particularly in the range of $100 Million or more is highly desirable.
  • Proven leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing teams and projects to successful outcomes.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis, with the ability to manage a large budget effectively and ensure cost-efficient delivery of services.
  • Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, and risk management is valuable.

  • Housing management for a population of at least 3,000
  • Dining facility for a population of at least 3,000

Work Environment
  • Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.
  • Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
  • Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.
