Job summary

Rise Enterprise in Doha, Qatar is seeking a capable Demi Chef de Partie to assist in running a kitchen section and support the Chef de Partie in daily operations. You will help prepare and cook dishes to a high standard, supervise junior staff, and step in to lead the section when needed.

Qualifications

• At least 3 to 4 years of kitchen experience, including time as a Commis I or similar role.
• Strong cooking skills and food safety knowledge.
• Able to lead a section and supervise a small team.
• Culinary diploma or certificate is an advantage; additional training or specialization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie in running an assigned kitchen section and cover the section when needed.
• Prepare, cook, and plate dishes to the company’s quality and presentation standards.
• Supervise and train Commis I, II, and III staff within the section.
• Monitor stock levels, ordering, and storage to reduce waste and avoid shortages.
• Check food quality and freshness, and ensure recipes and portions are followed correctly.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and cleaning standards set by the company and local health authorities.
• Support menu planning, tastings, and special events alongside senior chefs.
