Job Description

Demi Chef de Partie

Primarily responsible for preparing high-quality guest food and maintaining kitchen sanitation as per health and safety standards.

  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients and mise en place according to the standards set by the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
  • Execute cooking tasks for the assigned section with precision and attention to detail.
  • Manage and oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the smooth operation of the station during service.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen team members to maintain efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure effective communication and coordination during service.
  • Adhere to strict hygiene and safety standards in food handling and kitchen practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of High school education or a degree in Culinary
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
  • Previous experience in a five-star hotel
  • Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
  • Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
