Job summary

Qatar National Import and Export Co. is seeking a Data Entry Operator to maintain accurate records of sales transactions, inventory, and customer information. You will enter data into databases, generate reports, and support retail and sales operations with timely data input.

The role requires proven data entry experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. You will collaborate with teams to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator, preferably in the FMCG or retail industry.
• Strong proficiency in data entry and database management.
• A minimum of 1 – 3 years of experience in the same capacity.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data input.
• Knowledge of data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic understanding of retail and sales processes.

Responsibilities

• Enter sales transactions, customer information and inventory details into designated databases accurately and promptly.
• Ensure data integrity and eliminate errors in the entry process.
• Generate regular reports on sales performance including product-wise sales, revenue and customer trends.

Job Objective

The Data Entry Operator will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of sales transactions inventory and customer information your responsibilities include entering data into databases generating reports and supporting the overall efficiency of the retail and sales operations

Data Entry

Enter sales transactions customer information and inventory details into the designateddatabases accurately and promptly Ensure data integrity and eliminate errors in the entry process Make sure that all the codes customer code Item code are familiar to use Sales Reporting Generate regular reports on sales performance including product-wise sales revenue andcustomer trends Provide insights based on data analysis to support decision-making Inventory Management Update and maintain accurate records of product stock levels ensuring alignment with physicalinventory Collaborate with the Inventory Management team to reconcile discrepancies

Customer Database Management

Maintain a comprehensive and organized customer database including contact information purchase history and preferences Assist in customer segmentation for targeted marketing efforts Sales Support Provide data support to the Sales team by preparing reports presentations and analysis asrequired Collaborate with sales representatives to ensure accurate recording of customer interactions Coordinate with data initiator for any clarification and make sure that entry is 100 correct

Documentation

Maintain organized and well-documented files for easy retrieval of information Assist in the preparation of documents for audits and compliance purposes Maintains confidentiality of papers and documents of the company Participates in tasks requiring added assistance and help the employees if needed Conducts any other job-related tasks or duties as assigned by his manager

System Maintenance

Ensure the proper functioning and integrity of the data entry systems Make sure that all the codes customer code Item code are familiar to use Make sure that all data entry is completed on or before deadlineReport any system issues promptly to the IT department Maintains filing systems to ensure the retrieval process of data is easy Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator, preferably in the FMCG or retail industry.Strong proficiency in data entry and database management.A minimum of 1 – 3 years of experience in the same capacityExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in data input.Knowledge of data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite.Basic understanding of retail and sales processes
