Job summary

Codvo is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Oil & Gas sector in Doha, Qatar. You will gather, process, and analyze large data sets, build dashboards, and drive data-driven decisions across the organization.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement data governance, ETL pipelines, and utilize Power BI/Tableau/Qlik. 6+ years of experience required; a Bachelor's in computer science or statistics is required. The role reports to Head of Digital Intelligence.

Qualifications

• Gather, process, and validate large data sets from multiple sources (SCADA, ERP, IoT).
• Develop dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Perform data analysis, trend identification, and forecasting to support business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, process, and validate large data sets from multiple sources (SCADA, ERP, IoT, etc.).
• Develop dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Perform data analysis, trend identification, and forecasting to support business initiatives.
• Work with data engineers to ensure data quality and availability within the data lake.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in data analytics or BI.
• Strong skills in SQL, DAX, and Power BI/Tableau.
• Understanding of ETL pipelines, data lakes, and data governance principles.
• Experience in Python or R for advanced analytics preferred.
• Strong problem‑solving and visualization skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300) or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and DataSphere.
• Experience in Oil & Gas performance and production analytics.
