Job summary

ConFlip in Doha, Qatar is seeking a Data Analyst to join our team. You will analyze large data sets, design databases, and develop analytics solutions to support business decisions.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in CS/IS/Math, 2+ years in data analysis, strong SQL and Oracle, and Python, R or SAS. Experience with Tableau or Power BI is a plus.

English fluency is essential; Arabic is a plus. Salary: 1200 QAR per month.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in data analysis and reporting
• Excellent understanding of database concepts and technologies such as SQL and Oracle
• Ability to design, develop and deploy analytics solutions using data mining techniques
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R or SAS
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
• Fluency in English is a must; Arabic is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Analyze large data sets to identify trends and patterns that will inform business decisions
• Design databases to store structured data that can be used for reporting purposes
• Develop complex algorithms to facilitate the automation of reporting processes
• Create reports from multiple sources in order to identify areas of improvement
• Monitor the accuracy of all reporting processes

Requirements for the candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in data analysis and reportingExcellent understanding of database concepts and technologies such as SQL and Oracle
