Job summary

Employment is seeking an Information Technology Security Specialist to strengthen cybersecurity across cloud and on‑prem environments. The role focuses on risk assessments, incident response, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will monitor security tools, perform vulnerability testing, and support disaster recovery planning while collaborating with auditors and vendors to drive continuous security improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer/IT field or related discipline.
• Professional security certifications are preferred (CISSP, CISM, CEH).
• Hands-on experience in SOC/CIRT/CERT environments or IT audit.

Responsibilities

• Act as custodian of IT security policies and ensure implementation.
• Support governance and liaise with IS Manager and auditors.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and audits.
• Manage security tools and infrastructure across cloud/on‑prem.
• Monitor logs, conduct audits, ensure secure backups and access control.
• Detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents.
• Monitor networks for intrusions with IDS/IPS, SIEM, firewalls.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and security testing.
• Configure and optimize security solutions (firewalls, VPNs, antivirus).
• Ensure secure network configurations and change management adherence.
• Collaborate with vendors, run PoCs, report findings to management.
• Prepare incident reports and support DR/BC planning.
• Continuously assess threats and recommend mitigations.
