Job summary

Employment is seeking an IT Security Specialist to safeguard the organization’s IT infrastructure by implementing security controls, monitoring threats, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards.

The role requires at least 5 years in IT security, hands-on work with Defender, Sentinel, Azure Security, and SIEM, plus strong knowledge of Windows Server, networking, and cloud security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/InfoSec or related field.
• 5+ years of IT Security/Cybersecurity experience.
• Hands-on experience with Defender, Sentinel, Azure Security, SIEM, and firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to security incidents and cyber threats.
• Manage firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, VPN, and endpoint security solutions.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, and security audits.
• Implement and maintain cloud and network security controls.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, and other security frameworks.
• Support business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response activities.
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to enhance security posture.
