Job summary

A leading engineering contractor in Qatar is seeking a PCS7 and Safety Systems Service Engineer. The role involves programming control systems, especially in Oil & Gas environments. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Strong communication skills and a Qatar driving license are required. The position may involve travel to customer sites and is expected to last 6-12 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Siemens DCS and SCADA design, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Willingness to travel and work away when required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Programming of control systems using PCS7, WinCC, and STEP 7.
• Design and programming Fire & Gas systems and Emergency Shutdown Systems.
• Involvement throughout the software/systems lifecycle, from design through installation and documentation.

Hiring PCS7 and Safety Systems Service Engineer

Location : Ras Laffan & Other customer Site

Salary : TBD

Working Hours & Days: 10 hours,6 days a week

Duration:-6-12 months

Qualifications And Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Siemens DCS and SCADA design, programming,
• commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Hands on experience in PCS7 Safety Systems
• Good client facing skills, must be able to work as part of combined client/contractor team
• In depth knowledge of Water and Wastewater process, Petrochemical processes, and Oil & Gas processes
• Willingness to travel and work away when required
• Qatar driving license

Desirable Skills

• Ability to develop PCS7 and PLC programs based on reading schematics and interpreting customer specifications
• Ability to troubleshoot control loops and motor wiring
• Network architecture design
• Industrial instrumentation selection, configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience of working in both Water and Oil & Gas industries.
