An established industry player is seeking a Contracts Administrator to oversee and manage all aspects of contract administration. This role involves providing support to the Contracts Manager in developing strategies, qualifying suppliers, and preparing various contractual documents. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in contract management, particularly within the Oil and Gas sector, and will be responsible for identifying new opportunities to enhance contract performance. 5+ years of experience in overall contract management and its legal regulations.
The Contracts Administrator provides support in administering all contractual issues with vendors and contractors in accordance with Company and local governmental regulations.
Provide support to the Contracts Manager in all contract management activities such as strategy development; supplier/contractor qualification exercise; preparation and issue of Expression of Interest (EOI), NDAs, Invitation to Tender (ITT); tender evaluation and clarification; commercial negotiation; contract preparation and award; post-award administration; and performance monitoring and management processes.
Assist in conducting contractual risk analysis and mitigating risks, drafting appropriate contractual and commercial terms and conditions, with support from business functions to modify existing model contracts as applicable to best serve and protect the Company's interests.
Provide support in identifying new opportunities along with business functions to support KPI improvements and contract optimization initiatives, recommending and executing appropriate contracting strategies to support the Company's objectives.
Reports to: Contracts Manager
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Material Management, or Engineering.
Experience: Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is preferred. Fluent in written and spoken English. Fluency in written and spoken Arabic will be an advantage.
