Qualifications

• Indian nationality preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
• Proven experience working as a librarian or in a library setting.
• Knowledge of cataloging systems, reference tools, and information resources.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency a plus).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist patrons in locating and accessing library materials.
• Provide reference services and answer research questions.
• Manage circulation of materials, including checking out and returning items.
• Maintain accurate records of library transactions.
• Develop and implement programs and events to promote reading and literacy.
• Monitor inventory levels and order new materials as needed.
• Keep the library clean, organized, and attractive for patrons.
• Collaborate with other librarians to plan and coordinate library activities.
