We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library collection, assisting patrons with research and locating materials, and promoting library services and resources to the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and organize library materials including books, periodicals, audio-visual materials, and electronic resources
• Develop and implement cataloging systems to ensure efficient retrieval of materials
• Assist patrons with locating materials and conducting research
• Promote library services and resources through outreach events and programs
• Maintain accurate records of library transactions, such as loans and returns
• Monitor library budget and make recommendations for purchasing new materials
• Train and supervise library assistants or volunteers
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in library technology

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
• Proven experience working as a Librarian or in a similar role
