Qualifications

• Medical degree from a recognised institution.
• Specialist qualification in Sports and Exercise Medicine recognised by the licensing authority.
• Current Consultant-level experience in Sports and Exercise Medicine.
• Eligibility for licensure in Qatar.
• Expertise in musculoskeletal and sports-related conditions.
• Experience with elite athletes or high‑performance environments is desirable.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level assessment and management of sports and exercise‑related injuries and illnesses.
• Lead multidisciplinary treatment plans for athletes and active individuals.
• Perform musculoskeletal examinations and diagnostic evaluations.
• Deliver evidence-based rehabilitation and return-to-play strategies.
• Participate in injury prevention, health promotion, and athlete wellness programmes.
• Contribute to governance, quality improvement and service development.
• Support teaching, training and research activities where applicable.

Key Responsibilities
