Job summary

Ariane Real Estate is seeking an experienced Senior Planner/Project Controls professional to prepare, monitor, and optimize schedules for major infrastructure initiatives in Qatar. You will coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely execution and maintain baselines.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in project planning with GCC experience, a civil engineering or related degree, and fluent English for reporting, meetings, and correspondence.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, and project controls.
• Mandatory GCC experience with demonstrated work on projects in Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, or Bahrain.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, update, and monitor project schedules and work programs.
• Track project progress and analyze schedule performance against baselines.
• Identify delays, risks, critical activities, and long-lead items, and recommend corrective actions.
• Determine and monitor the project critical path and milestone achievements.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely project execution.
• Prepare progress reports, look-ahead schedules, recovery plans, and forecasting reports.
• Monitor resource allocation, productivity, and project performance.
• Review and assess contractors’ and subcontractors’ schedules.
• Evaluate Extension of Time (EOT) claims and time-related variations.
• Support project planning, cost control, and reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines, contractual obligations, and project objectives.
