Job summary

Sisco Jobs in Qatar seeks an experienced CNC Supervisor (Steelworks) to oversee CNC machining and steel fabrication within a shipyard environment. You will coordinate setups, tooling and job allocation to meet production targets.

The role requires 5–8 years in CNC supervision, strong interpretation of engineering drawings, and a commitment to safety and quality. Diploma or IT certificate is required; candidates with shipyard or heavy fabrication background are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or IT Certificate in Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–8 years in CNC/steel fabrication with supervisory exposure.
• Experience in shipyard or heavy fabrication preferred.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day CNC machining and steel fabrication activities to achieve production targets.
• Coordinate CNC machine setup, operating parameters, tooling, and job allocation.
• Monitor machining operations to ensure components meet drawings and specs.
• Guide CNC operators and technicians on machining sequences, setup requirements, and issues.
• Troubleshoot CNC machine, tooling, dimensional, and production-related problems.
• Interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and fabrication requirements.
• Ensure completed components meet quality standards before release to later stages.
• Enforce workplace safety, machine safety, housekeeping, and shipyard procedures.
