Qualifications

• B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering required.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in sheet metal fabrication.
• Experience with AUTOCAD and SOLIDWORKS software.
• Ability to interpret drawings and prepare BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed sheet metal fabrication drawings using AutoCAD/SolidWorks.
• Develop fabrication layouts, flat patterns, and assembly drawings.
• Interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings accurately.
• Prepare cutting lists, BOMs, and material takeoffs.
• Coordinate with production, procurement and project teams.
• Ensure designs comply with project specs and quality requirements.
• Optimize material usage to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Provide technical support to resolve fabrication and installation issues.

Role & responsibilities Urgent Requirement

We are hiring CNC Programmer in Sheet metal Fabrication for a leading Industrial Group of Co in Qatar

Qualification

B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Or Industrial Engineering.

Experience

• Minimum 4 to 6 years relevant experience.
• Prepare detailed sheet metal fabrication drawings using AUTOCAD & SOLID WORKS software.
• Develop fabrication layouts, flat patterns, and assembly drawings.
• Interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings accurately.
• Prepare cutting lists, material takeoffs, and bill of materials (BOM).
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and project teams to ensure design feasibility.
• Ensure designs comply with project specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements.
• Optimize material usage to reduce waste and improve fabrication efficiency.
• Resolve fabrication and installation issues by providing technical support to the factory.
• Revise drawings based on client comments, site conditions, or engineering changes.
• Maintain accurate design documentation and ensure timely submission of drawings for approval and fabrication. Familiar with Machine Programming

Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, Solid Edge, etc.).
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes (laser cutting, punching, bending, welding, and assembly).
• Ability to prepare fabrication drawings, flat patterns, and shop drawings.
• Understanding of sheet metal materials, gauges, tolerances, and finishes.
• Experience preparing Bills of Materials (BOM), cutting lists, and material takeoffs.
• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and engineering standards.
