Job summary

Capco is seeking a Security Architect to design and deliver secure, resilient cloud environments. You will work across business, security, architecture, engineering, risk, and technology teams to embed security into cloud transformation from the outset.

You’ll tackle complex security challenges in financial services, helping clients adopt cloud technologies confidently while maintaining governance and strong security controls.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in cloud security architecture and governance.
• Practical knowledge of IAM, encryption, network security, logging and cloud-native security controls.
• Experience designing security solutions across major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Understanding of security frameworks, risk management, regulatory requirements, and security-by-design.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud security strategies and policies.
• Create secure architectures and security patterns across cloud environments.
• Define and implement cloud security controls, guardrails, and architecture principles.
• Embed security across infrastructure, applications, and delivery pipelines with engineering teams.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and plan remediation.
• Assess cloud security risks, identify gaps, and provide practical remediation recommendations.
• Collaborate with security, risk, architecture, and technology stakeholders to enable secure cloud adoption.
