Job summary

Indium is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure cloud infrastructure on site in Qatar. You will migrate workloads, automate deployments, and optimize costs while ensuring reliability and disaster recovery.

Work with DevOps to implement CI/CD, monitor systems, and integrate containerization with Docker/Kubernetes. A strong foundation in networking, security, and scripting (Python/Bash) is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or systems engineering.
• Proficiency with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Understanding of networking, security, and cost management in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based systems and infrastructure.
• Manage cloud migration projects from on-premises to cloud environments.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring using infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Optimize cloud resource usage for cost and performance efficiency.
• Ensure cloud security, backup, and disaster recovery protocols are in place.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with DevOps and development teams on CI/CD pipelines.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud tools and services.
