Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in civil building and construction.
• Civil diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read drawings, plans, and strategies and share details with others.
• Knowledge of stonework (kerb rock, interlock, floor tile etc.).
• Strong understanding of building operations and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present project progress to supervisors.
• Establish and manage work schedules for employees and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with labor legislation and monitor staff participation.
• Maintain high quality standards on all sites.
• Act as intermediary between construction staff and engineers/managers.
• Resolve on-site conflicts quickly and amicably.
• Oversee daily activities, adjusting for weather, supply and personnel.
• Supervise use of equipment and oversee expenditures.
• Assign tasks and monitor budgets and resources.
• Supervise and advise employees and subcontractors.
