Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of Civil Engineer experience in a similar role.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is desirable.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or with other teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, or topographical data to plan projects.
• Develop design criteria for roads, bridges, dams, water systems, and other public works.
• Design/draft plans using CAD software.
• Oversee construction sites to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
• Provide technical advice including cost estimates and bid preparation.
