Job description

A Turf Foreman is responsible for supervising a team of groundskeepers or turf technicians. They assist in planning and executing turf maintenance tasks, monitor equipment, and ensure the proper care of turf areas.

Responsibilities:

• Following and implementing the instructions of the project manager and turf supervisor.
• Supervising turf management duties, including but not limited to turf maintenance according to programs.
• Supervising the spraying of chemicals and fertilizers.
• Supervising the proper use of turf maintenance equipment.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in turf maintenance or a related role.
2. Knowledge of turf care equipment and practices.
3. Leadership and team coordination skills.
4. Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

Certifications / Additional Qualifications:

1. Diploma in Landscape Management or a related field.
2. Certification in Turfgrass Management.
