Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Civil Engineer specializing in Roads Operations and Maintenance (O&M) to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Civil Engineer (Roads O&M), you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the road infrastructure in the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive road maintenance strategies and plans
• Conduct regular inspections of road networks to assess conditions and identify maintenance needs
• Analyze pavement management data to prioritize maintenance and rehabilitation projects
• Design and oversee road repair, resurfacing, and reconstruction projects
• Collaborate with traffic engineers to optimize road safety and efficiency
• Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and project schedules
• Ensure compliance with local and international road design standards and regulations
• Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders throughout project lifecycles
• Implement and maintain quality control measures for road construction and maintenance activities
• Utilize GIS and other software tools to manage and analyze road network data
• Participate in emergency response planning and execution for road-related incidents

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience, especially in roads operations and maintenance
• Proven experience with road infrastructure projects and familiarity with local and international road design standards
• Expertise in road design, construction, and infrastructure maintenance and rehabilitation techniques
