Job summary

Malaak Mama & Baby Care seeks a dedicated Childcare Nurse to provide nurturing newborn and pediatric care in a home setting. You will support health, comfort, and development through daily routines, feeding, and development activities while keeping parents updated.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing, QCHP RN license, pediatric nursing experience, BLS and First Aid certifications, and a compassionate, calm demeanor. This is a full-time on-site role in Qatar.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and QCHP RN license.
• Pediatric nursing experience with newborn/infant care.
• Valid BLS and First Aid certifications.
• Excellent communication and compassionate approach.

Responsibilities

• Newborn & Childcare duties including burping, swaddling, diaper changes, bathing and feeding.
• Establish routines for sleep and feeding to support healthy habits.
• Provide nutritional support and assist with weaning.
• Encourage healthy sleep habits and self-soothing techniques.
• Plan age-appropriate activities promoting curiosity and development.
• Maintain safety and hygiene with disinfection of toys and play areas.
• Organize the baby’s space for comfort and functionality.
• Document daily activities and communicate updates to parents.

As a Childcare Nurse, you will provide nurturing, evidence‑based care for newborns and young children in a home setting. Your role focuses on ensuring their health, comfort, and development through daily care routines, learning activities, and consistent communication with parents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Newborn & Childcare Duties — Burping, swaddling, diaper changing, bathing, feeding, and ensuring overall comfort and well‑being.
• Routine Establishment — Maintain structured sleep and feeding schedules to support healthy daily habits.
• Nutritional Support — Prepare healthy meals and assist with weaning.
• Healthy Sleep Habits — Encourage positive sleep associations and self‑soothing techniques.
• Learning & Exploration — Plan age‑appropriate activities that promote curiosity, independence, and developmental growth.
• Safety & Hygiene — Maintain a clean, safe environment with regular disinfection of toys and play areas.
• Organizing Baby Spaces — Set up and organize the baby’s room to ensure comfort and functionality.
• Parent Communication — Document daily activities, development notes, and incidents, and provide consistent updates to parents.

Key Requirements:

• Female candidates only, due to the nature of the role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Valid QCHP Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in pediatric nursing, childcare, or midwifery with proven newborn and infant care skills.
• Valid BLS and First Aid certifications.
• Genuine passion for working with babies and young children.
• Compassionate, nurturing approach with families.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and positive under pressure.
