Job summary

India Abroad in Doha, Qatar is seeking a friendly Cashier (Indian or Malayalee) to join our store team. The ideal candidate will greet customers, handle cash transactions accurately, and ensure all items are scanned and priced correctly at the register, while delivering excellent customer service.

This role offers accommodation, a free visa and ticket, and requires teamwork, flexibility to work weekends/holidays, and good basic math skills.

Qualifications

• Must be Indian or Malayalee (preference).
• Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (English proficiency not required).
• Customer service-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide them with a positive shopping experience.
• Accurately handle cash transactions and provide customers with correct change.
• Process returns, exchanges, and refunds in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Answer customer inquiries and address any issues or concerns they may have.
• Ensure all products are properly scanned and priced at the register.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations of the store.
