SearchPlus HR in Doha, Qatar, seeks an experienced Specialist/Consultant in Cardiac Anaesthesia to provide expert anaesthesia care for cardiac and cardiothoracic surgeries, ensuring patient safety and optimal perioperative outcomes.

The role requires recognized specialist qualifications, postgraduate training, and proven experience in cardiac anaesthesia, with advanced haemodynamic monitoring, and collaboration with surgical and ICU teams.

Qualifications

• Recognized Specialist or Consultant qualification in Cardiac Anaesthesia.
• Postgraduate qualifications and clinical experience.
• Proven experience in cardiac and cardiothoracic anaesthesia.
• Experience in advanced haemodynamic monitoring and perioperative patient management.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• UK CCT, American Board, Australian Board, and German Board criteria.

Responsibilities

• Provide anaesthesia care for patients undergoing cardiac and cardiothoracic surgeries.
• Conduct preoperative assessments and evaluate fitness for surgery.
• Administer and monitor general anaesthesia during cardiac procedures.
• Manage intraoperative haemodynamic monitoring and patient stability.
• Perform and interpret transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) where appropriately qualified.
• Manage postoperative care and pain management in cardiac intensive care settings.
• Handle complex cardiac cases, including CABG and valve surgeries.
• Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to patient safety standards.
