Job summary

Amentum in Qatar is seeking a C4I Technician responsible for maintenance of MRAP C4I systems installed in MRAP vehicles. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and user issues, follow the C4I Supervisor's directives, manage access and security, and ensure proper storage of equipment.

This role requires two years of field experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to obtain a Secret US clearance. Occasional travel and outdoor work are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years minimum field experience as a C4I Senior Electronics Technician and/or Supervisor.
• Associates degree or higher in Computer Science or Information Technology preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot/diagnose/repair MRAP's complete C4I electronic systems including TACOM, ISRN, and CREW IED Defeat Systems.
• Follow preventive maintenance plans based on manufacturer recommendations and ME variance; propose revisions as needed.
• Follow recon inspection and repair procedures and provide revision recommendations.
• Notify supervisor about changes in coverage of parts for mid-level repairs.
• Ensure security, limited access and safe storage of C4I equipment and pilferable MRAP items.
• Perform inventory/serial number checks for accountability of all electronic equipment.
• Prepare and inspect vehicles/equipment for shipment by air/sea/surface transport.
• Coordinate with Supply for secure access to POS for C4I equipment.
• Receive in-house C4I Technician training and refresher/upgrade training as required.
• Monitor vehicle mechanics near sensitive electronics and provide over-the-shoulder training.
• Attend upgrade training as required.
