Overview
Job purpose: The Business Development Executive will support the Senior Business Development Manager in managing and developing a portfolio of Business-to-Business clients. S/he will build positive relationships and implement account plans leading to higher utilization of Apex Health services by client employees and dependents.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Attend with the Business Development Senior Manager and/or relevant management staff to pitch products/services to target clients using company profiles, proposals, personalized sales speech, presentations and more.
- Create account management plans for existing corporate clients and be responsible for managing and enhancing the relationship.
- Engage with clients directly to identify opportunities to promote services.
- Develop an understanding of client organizations’ functions and decision-making roles.
- Liaise with other departments and business units to arrange events and tours.
- Create detailed reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Leverage Apex Health marketing plan and business development unit standard operating procedure (SOP) to develop a personal monthly sales plan.
- Produce monthly reports and update client tracking and pipelines to demonstrate progress.
- Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; research and analyze sales options.
- Identify medical tourism agencies to promote medical tourism in all business units.
- Work closely with the senior manager to identify and manage risks and improve B2B sales performance.
- Maintain regular contact with customers and key decision makers.
- Build and leverage both new and established client relationships.
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Education requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business management or an equivalent relevant degree (Required).
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Development or Account Management in a healthcare organization.
- Minimum 2 years in GCC (preferred).
Knowledge and Skills
- Deep knowledge of the healthcare industry.
- Skilled in Marketing Management, Business Development Management and Commercial Operations Management.
- Good understanding of legal services (Preferred).
