Job summary

Nehmeh Group is seeking a Mechanical Technician in Qatar to handle coil expansion, header fabrication, brazing, washing, and quality checks. You will ensure correct brazing parameters, operate the brazing torch safely, and maintain a clean, compliant work area.

The role requires 3–4 years of hands-on experience, reading drawings, and a keen eye for detail. You will follow SOPs and contribute to team effort while performing ad hoc tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Vocational Course in Technical or Equivalent.
• 3 to 4 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician.
• Comprehension of fundamental mechanical concepts and drawings.
• Keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the Coil expansion process.
• Responsible for making the Header, which includes drilling, cutting, and deburring.
• Responsible for properly using the brazing torch and maximizing the utilization of the brazing rod.
• Responsible for Washing the Coils.
• Responsible for cleaning joints of workpieces, using wire brushes or by dipping them into cleaning solution.
• Responsible for End Cap Making.
• Responsible for ensuring the re-brazing of defective joints or broken parts.
• Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Responsible for contributing to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Responsible for complying with equipment and regulatory safety instructions.
• Responsible for following all the processes and policies of the company and being aligned with the departmental SOPs at all times.
• Responsible for completing any other ad hoc tasks / projects that are assigned by the manager.
• Responsible for ensuring the correct parameters during the brazing process, such as joint condition, brazing temperature, and the right percentage for oxy-acetylene during brazing.
• Responsible for using the right tools during the brazing.
• Responsible for ensuring the top quality of the brazing after the process through water leak testing.
