Job summary

FinOps Weekly in Doha is seeking an Azure Cloud Architect + DevOps Engineer who owns cloud end-to-end and partners with engineering to ship faster and cheaper. You will design and operate container apps, manage pipelines, and optimize costs across Azure services.

You will work with Container Apps, App Services, Function Apps, Cosmos DB for PostgreSQL, Storage, Service Bus, Front Door, and edge CDN, with strong scripting and IaC requirements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Azure as primary cloud architect.
• Deep Azure services mastery across container apps, app services, function apps, ACR, AKS, Cosmos DB for PostgreSQL, Storage, Service Bus, Key Vault.
• Experience with cost optimization and security in a cloud environment.
• Strong scripting and IaC capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own Azure architecture across the platform and keep diagrams current.
• Design topology changes as the product grows and manage deployments.
• Manage DNS, Front Door profiles, and edge CDN integrations.
• Own DevOps pipelines, build/test/release templates, and secret management.
• Audit and optimize Azure spend across subscriptions.
