Job summary

Qatar Airways seeks an Occupational Health Doctor to provide medical and occupational healthcare to staff to international standards. You will advise QR Group management, contribute to clinical governance, and deliver high-quality OH services.

You will support OH nursing supervision, participate in audits, and coordinate care with specialists. The role requires MBBS/MD, OH qualification, and registration with relevant authorities along with 5+ years in OH settings.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 5 years of job-related experience.
Primary Medical Degree, e.g. MBBS, MBChB or similar from an internationally recognized University
Qualification in Occupational Health Medicine, equivalent to Diploma, MSc or above.
Hold Specialist Medical Registration in your country of practice, preferably in Occupational Medicine.
Experience in provision of occupational medicine in a Commercial, Industrial, Aviation or Military setting.
Proven experience of demonstrating flexibility to meet the changing demands of the business.

Responsibilities

Assist Senior Doctor in the analysis of QR Group Occupational Health needs and provide recommendations that support the development of an effective Occupational Health (OH) service.
Promote health of QR Group employees by providing occupational health initiatives such as educational trainings to employees in support of a company-wide healthy workforce.
Review pre-employment health questionnaires and advise business on fitness to work for potential employees.
Provide high quality occupational health services to Qatar Airways staff and maintain patient confidentiality.
Coordinate care with colleagues, specialist services and allied health professionals as required to ensure best quality of care.
