Overview
Job Summary: The AV Technician is responsible for setting up, installing, operating, testing, and maintaining audio and visual equipment for events, meetings, presentations, or other purposes.
Responsibilities
- Set up and install audio and visual equipment such as microphones, speakers, projectors, video screens, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing boards.
- Operate sound and video equipment during events or meetings to ensure quality audio and visual transmission.
- Test and troubleshoot audio and visual equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Maintain and repair audio and visual equipment as needed.
- Assist in coordinating with clients or event organizers to understand their audio and visual requirements and provide technical support accordingly.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as an AV Technician or similar role.
- Knowledge of audio and visual equipment setup, installation, operation, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with various types of equipment such as microphones, projectors, speakers, etc.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
