Job summary

EY in Doha is seeking Associates and Senior Auditors to join our Doha Audit team to support our clients with accurate reporting on financial statements and meaningful insights into accounting matters.

You will participate in audit engagements, work effectively as a team, and help prepare reports and schedules for clients while building productive relationships with client personnel.

Qualifications

• Have at least 3 years of professional experience in external audit.
• Strong academic record including a degree and professional qualifications such as ACCA or CPA.
• Experience with a reputed accounting firm.
• Proficiency in Arabic language.

Responsibilities

• Participate in audit engagements.
• Work effectively as a team member and share responsibility.
• Provide support and maintain communication with senior team members.
• Prepare for meetings with target management teams and participate in these meetings.
• Assist in preparing reports and schedules delivered to clients and develop relationships with client personnel.
• Establish internal and external relationships and identify potential EY opportunities.
• Contribute to people initiatives including recruitment and retention of assurance professionals.
• Escalate risks and ensure high-quality work reviewed by senior reviewers.

Your Key Responsibilities

• contributing to people initiatives including recruiting and retaining assurance professionals
• with a clear focus on anticipating and identifying risks, escalating issues as appropriate
• confirm that the work delivered to clients is of high quality and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer
