Job summary

Almuftah Group is seeking a qualified technician to perform maintenance on rotating equipment in our refinery/petrochemical facility in Qatar. The role requires a diploma or certificate in mechanical technology and hands-on experience with overhauling and maintaining rotary equipment.

You will work on preventive maintenance, alignments, and testing, using hand and power tools and performing accurate measurements. English communication is essential for daily operations and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Read, write and speak in English.
• Hands-on experience with rotary equipment maintenance.
• Ability to use basic measuring tools and hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Understand job requirements clearly and execute them safely in running plant.
• Carry out rotating equipment’s preventive maintenance and oil flushing.
• Dismantle service, assemble, and test the rotating equipment’s.
• Assist in carrying out rotary equipment’s alignment and soft foot correction.
• Prepare tools and tackle and measuring instruments for corrective and predictive maintenance.
• Ensure housekeeping of the work area after job completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand job requirements clearly and execute them safely in running plant.
• Carry out Rotating equipment’s preventive Maintenance and oil flushing
• Dismantle service, assemble, and test the rotating equipment’s
• Assist in carrying out Rotary equipment’s alignment and soft foot correction
• Prepare tools and tackle and measuring instruments to carry out corrective and predictive maintenance
• Familiar with industrial safety and hazardous area classification. Should use appropriate tools during online maintenance
• Ensure the housekeeping of work area after job completion

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Qualified with a Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Technology from a recognized institution.

Experience:

• Minimum Five -year experience in Refinery /Petrochemical plant
• Hands on experience in overhauling and Maintenance of Rotary equipment’s
• Skilled on use of hand tools/ power tools and measuring tools
• Ability to Read, write and speak in English

Age Limit: Not over the age of (45) years old.
