Job summary

The Ned Doha is seeking an experienced Assistant Laundry Manager to lead our luxury hotel laundry operations. This role requires a highly organized professional with a strong operational background and a passion for excellence.

You will coach and develop the laundry team, oversee linen and garment processing, and drive productivity while upholding the brand’s standards of quality, presentation, and service. This position reports to the Laundry Department and collaborates across departments.

Qualifications

• Prior managerial experience in a luxury hotel laundry operation.
• Strong knowledge of commercial laundry processes, fabric care, and technologies.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all laundry operations to ensure daily seamless performance.
• Drive productivity while maintaining high quality and presentation standards.
• Oversee processing of linens, uniforms, guest laundry, and specialty items per brand standards.
• Coach and develop the laundry team; foster accountability and continuous improvement.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, performance reviews, and succession planning.
• Monitor KPIs, productivity reports, and quality controls to identify improvements.
• Ensure maintenance of equipment and facilities; manage inventory and costs.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping and Rooms to ensure service excellence.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene and environmental regulations.
• Lead by example to deliver Forbes Five-Star service and operational excellence.
