Job summary

Al Maha Academy for Boys in Doha, Qatar seeks an Assistant Head Teacher to support the Head Teacher in leading the school. You will help plan, implement and evaluate the curriculum to sustain high academic standards and a holistic learning experience.

You will mentor teachers, drive professional development, monitor student progress and ensure safeguarding. Collaboration with families and leadership is essential to maintain an inclusive, learner-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Education and Pedagogy.
• Proven Curriculum Development experience.
• Leadership experience in schools or middle management.
• Excellent communication with staff, learners and families.
• Bachelor’s in Education or related field; postgraduate qualifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Teacher in leadership and management of the school.
• Plan, implement and evaluate the curriculum to ensure high standards.
• Oversee day-to-day teaching and learning activities.
• Mentor and support teaching staff; coordinate professional development.
• Monitor student progress and promote positive behavior and safeguarding.
• Ensure alignment with school policies and regulatory requirements.
