Job summary

La Petite Maison in Doha invites a skilled Sommelier to lead our wine program and elevate guest experiences. You will mentor staff, train on wine knowledge, and ensure impeccable service during shifts.

The role requires extensive French wine knowledge, English fluency, and 2–3 years’ sommelier experience in a comparable setting. We offer relocation support and a path to grow with a globally celebrated hospitality brand.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of previous experience as a Sommelier in a similar establishment.
• Excellent English – oral and written.
• Extensive knowledge of wines, with emphasis on French wine.
• Ability to train and educate staff on wine-related matters.

Responsibilities

• Mentor team members, act as reference, and support delivering the best guest experience while developing skills.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of LPM products (food and beverages).
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of wines and pairings and train staff on wine-related topics.
• Take full charge of the sommelier service during operations.
• Manage the restaurant's wine inventory, overseeing storage conditions, monitoring levels and secure handling.
