Qualifications

• PhD and a Master’s degree in Healthcare Management, Health Administration, Health Economics, Health Insurance and Financing, Health Systems, Health Informatics and Data Analytics, Public Health, Health Policy or related discipline from an internationally recognized university.
• Minimum 3 years teaching experience in post-secondary or industry training environments; record of supervising research students; demonstrated leadership with industry engagement.
• Preferred professional certification in Healthcare Management or Health Administration (e.g., FACHE, CPHQ) and Diploma in Education or related teaching credentials.
• Experience of 8+ years for associate professor with strong research record and international reputation is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and evaluate a broad range of healthcare management courses across undergraduate and EMHA programs.
• Evaluate student progress and manage learning resources; liaise with industry and educational institutions.
• Coordinate, manage, and control projects within the specified program area; contribute to accreditation processes.

Job description

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of the Healthcare Management Department the successful candidate will be responsible for the development delivery and evaluation of a broad range of courses within Healthcare Management including Health Economics Health Insurance and Financing Health Systems and Health Informatics and Data Analytics spanning both the undergraduate program and the Executive Master of Health Administration EMHA S he will evaluate student progress and manage the resources of the learning environment The successful candidate will liaise with industry and other educational institutions participate in industry advisory committees and coordinate manage and control projects within the specified program area Faculty members will keep course portfolio documents required for accreditation processes and engage in instructional development improvement plans All employees are expected to contribute to professional and community life within the College and beyond

Qualifications

Education PhD and a Master s degree in Healthcare Management Health Administration Health Economics Health Insurance and Financing Health Systems Health Informatics and Data Analytics Public Health Health Policy or a related discipline from an internationally recognized university with an undergraduate degree from an accredited university.

For Assistant Professor Experience A minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a post-secondary adult training or industry training environment along with preferably 3 years of employment experience in healthcare management health administration health economics health insurance and financing health systems health informatics and data analytics or a related field A distinguished research record and international reputation evidenced by high-quality publications in top tier journals Excellent record of supervising high caliber research students Demonstrated leadership in building engagement and partnerships with the profession and industry

Preferred Qualifications Professional Certification in Healthcare Management or Health Administration e g FACHE CPHQ Diploma in Education e g Post-secondary Education Adult Education or Vocational Education is preferred 6 years of employment experience as a practitioner professional within the relevant discipline Teaching experience in post-secondary adult training or industry training environment Experience in leadership and innovation in digital health or health information technology projects

For Associate Professor Experience A minimum of 8 years teaching experience in a post-secondary adult training or industry training environment along with preferably 3 years of employment experience in healthcare management health administration health economics health insurance and financing health systems health informatics and data analytics or a related field A distinguished research record and international reputation evidenced by high-quality publications in top tier journals Excellent record of supervising high caliber research students Demonstrated leadership in building engagement and partnerships with the profession and industry
